Cumberland Emerging Technologies, Inc. (CET) is a joint initiative between Cumberland Pharmaceuticals, Vanderbilt University and the Tennessee Technology Development Corporation. CET works to bridge the development gap and bring biomedical technologies from research laboratory to the commercial marketplace.

CET combines the strengths of its partners to identify and progress promising, early-stage research projects and proposals.

•  Cumberland Pharmaceuticals Inc. provides management for CET, with a team of pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry veterans offering broad expertise in international pharmaceutical development and commercialization and grant, seed and venture capital financing.
•  Vanderbilt University  provides access to top quality scientific research and technology, as well as the skills base of its Office of Technology Transfer and Enterprise Development in patent management and the creation and financing of new technology-based companies.
•  Tennessee Technology Development Corporation  offers access to scientific and technological development throughout the state as well as support for entrepreneurial ventures.

Located in Nashville, Tennessee, the CET Life Sciences Center offers flexible lab and office space, equipment and other resources to early-stage life sciences companies.
